Not a huge week, but there are still some deals to be had! I like the rice deal! That's a definite staple to keep in the pantry.

  1. Sorry this is OT, but do you know if its possible to freeze Simply Potatoes Hash Browns and have them still turn out okay after thawing and cooking them? Theyre 10 for 10 at Publix this week and wanted to stock up since I LOVE them! TIA!!! :)

  2. Lynn- you can freeze potatoes. Although freezing may or may not affect the integrity of the potato when its thawed. You can buy frozen hash browns, but I don't know at what stage they're frozen. Simply Potatoes Hash Browns are fresh potatoes, so it might pr might not work right. I know the bags are good in the refrigerator for quite some time, so put one in the freezer for a week or two and try it out. If not, you'll have lots of hash browns to eat :) I think its definitely worth a try! Check out the Q & A section on the Simply Potatoes website! Google it and see if you can get some more info on it. I'm interested to know!
